L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel is a slice of history in Old Montreal. Little pricey in comparison to others but I had no complaints.

We didn't make a reservation and arrived around 5pm and it quickly filled up after we sat down so a reservation is probably a good idea for more than 2 people. We had a great early dinner at this restaurant on our latest trip to QC in April 2016.It is the oldest restaurant in QC, very nicely decorated, great service, tasty food.They offer a great prefixed menu at $19CAD that includes an appetizer, main course, desert and a glass of wine or beer.For additional charge, that is very clearly marked on the menu, you can order more expensive items from the menu.Service was prompt, staff is very polite.
