Our announcement this morning regarding the Snowshoe GNCC contained some inaccurate information regarding Snowshoe Mountain’s summer operations. With this in mind, we have made the joint-decision to postpone the GNCC race event previously scheduled for June 27-28.
Subject: GNCC. Earlier this month, the Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the location of the 10th round of the GNCC Racing Series, notified race promoters that due to Covid concerns, it will not be able to host the Snowshoe GNCC scheduled for September 26-27. We are tentatively moving the date to September 26-27 when we hope to be able to safely have large gatherings again.

As always, the safety and wellbeing of our staff, community and guests is our top priority and at this time we are not confident that we could safely accommodate this event. On Wednesday, Racer Productions and the Snowshoe community announced the complete cancellation of the 2020 Snowshoe GNCC and other related events due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Due to the continuously evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the GNCC and GNCC University events scheduled for September 24-27. The 2020 Yamaha Racing GNCC University will take place on June 24-26 at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia.

The GNCC series will kick off with the Big Buck GNCC on February 22 and 23 in Union, South Carolina. After careful deliberation, we have made the decision to cancel the GNCC race as well as GNCC University slated for this September. The GNCC race that was originally slated for June 2020, then delayed to September 2020 has now been canceled.
From there the series will head southbound for the Wild Boar GNCC in Palatka, Florida, held in conjunction with the 2020 Daytona Beach “Bike Week” festivities on March 8 and 9. Good morning, we have another adjustment to our summer operations schedule to announce. From: Patti Duncan (SN)
