My wife chose the poached lobster that was served on a bed of farro and I chose the salmon that was also served on a bed of farro. Not good enough for “fine dining.”. This is a flavorful salad with small shrimps, olives, blue cheese, soppressata and artichoke hearts. Pricey but...worth it. vegetarian tastes, and the dessert menu had more intriguing options than I had room to consume. When we...were ready to be seated, the host sat us at a small table on the other side of the bar. Oliver's Restaurant is one of the premier dining locations in Buffalo. Neither of us expected it to be so rich and flavorful. We had the wild Boar special. That said, the wait staff was on top of the situation - checking in, keeping us updated and apologizing (which wasn't necessary) - which is always much appreciated. Older bartenders dressed very classy, knowledgeable of the drinks and friendly service. It was garnished with brûléed fruit and curry granola.
