Not only did they put us on the fish but they gave us great recommendations for exploring the Lower Sac for the remainder of our trip. The forest helps keep the river flowing cool. As a fishery it offers the opportunity for anglers to test their skills against one of its prized redside rainbows or oversized trophy Browns. This, accompanied by the fact that there are copious amounts while rainbow and brown trout Swimming in her waters is just an added bonus. Shasta is cold and clear.
